Skies will be clearing through the rest of this Wednesday in southeast Wisconsin so plenty of sunshine is expected by the afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly warmer, in the low 80s, because the wind is from the SSE today and not directly off the lake.
A seasonably warm night is in store for Milwaukee and Waukesha with overnight lows only in the upper 60s under mainly clear skies. The mild overnight temperatures will just help temperatures soar on Thursday with highs in the 90s across most of southern Wisconsin. It will be a windy day though, with a SW wind sustained at 10-20 mph, some gusts could reach 30mph.
We stay hot and sunny for Friday with another day of upper 80s and low 90s but the wind will not be as strong. The remnants of Isaac will just graze southern Wisconsin on Saturday but bring a few more clouds and slightly cooler temperatures back into the forecast. Labor Day weekend will have highs hovering near 80 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a few scattered chances for rain showers but it will not be a wash-out holiday weekend.
