Still Dry With Climbing Temperatures

CREATED Aug 29, 2012

As an upper level ridge continues growing Northward we'll see our temperatures climb, as well.  Today's area highs in the low to mid 80s will be 5 to 10 degrees above the seasonal average high of 77 degrees.  The trend continues into the end of the week when low 90s will be prevalent across our region.  Left over clouds from a compact disturbance which passed to our West late yesterday and last night will filter our sunshine a bit for part of the day, but dry conditions will continue.  In fact, the forecast remains free of any significant precipitation right through the holiday weekend North of Milwaukee.  To the South, remnants of Hurricane Isaac will lead to more clouds and some scattered showers and storms on Saturday through Monday, though.
Have a great Wednesday!
