We'll do a flip flop from Saturday's sunny and hot forecast on this Sunday. Expect mostly cloudy skies with off and on chances for rain showers, mainly after 10am. The best chance for rain will be in the south and east during the middle of the day and into the early evening hours. Rainfall totals will range from a tenth of an inch or less in the north to up to a half an inch in the south. There will be periods of dry weather during the day and most of the rain will not be heavy except if a thunderstorm or two develops. Temperatures will be cooler due to the rain and clouds as well, topping out in the mid to upper 70s.
Rain comes to an end tonight and the cloud cover will decrease overnight as high pressure moves in from the west. With the added moisture and light winds, areas of fog may develop late and impact the morning commute on Monday. The sunshine makes its return by late Monday morning and temperatures will be seasonally warm, in the low 80s with a light NW wind.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be slightly cooler but seasonable at the lakefront due to a breeze off of Lake Michigan both days. With the return of a southerly wind, temperatures warm back into the mid 80s for the rest of the work week.
