Some More Sizzle

CREATED Aug 23, 2012

As surface high pressure pushes East and Southwest winds build we'll notice warmer temperatures and a bit more moisture leading to greater cloudiness filtering the sunshine.  A warm front has lifted to our North triggering a very few light showers overnight and now temperatures in some spots could approach 90 degrees, well above the seasonal average high of 78 degrees.  There doesn't appear to be any significant trigger mechanism for precipitation through the first half of the weekend.  An upper level ridge will nudge Northward into our region so the very warm, dry weather should prevail at least through Saturday.
Have a great Thursday!
