Plenty of Sunshine & Some Isolated Showers

CREATED Aug 20, 2012

A cool front has slid past our area offering a reinforcing blast of slightly cool air to start the work week.  We'll see a good deal of sunshine to start our Monday, but as a Lake breeze kicks up instability in the atmosphere during the afternoon, look for some isolated to scattered showers and a possibility of a rumble of thunder.   Even more sunshine arrives on Tuesday and Wednesday as high pressure overtakes our area.  As Southerly breezes pick up, there will be an increase in high temperatures and a nice warm up by midweek.
Have a great week ahead!
