It will be a warm and muggy day with temperatures topping out around 90 degrees, though it will be slightly cooler at the lakefront. Southeast Wisconsin will watch the cloud cover increase to partly cloudy skies by the afternoon when a few isolated showers or storms are possible.
The best chance for thunderstorms comes mainly after 2pm as a cold front makes it way across Wisconsin. Some storms that develop could be strong to severe with the largest threat being damaging wind with a small threat for large hail and heavy down pours. Rain chances end before midnight, where most locations will only pick up a tenth to a quarter of an inch in the bucket before skies begin to clear.
There may be a few clouds left over on Sunday morning but then we'll see blue skies, lower humidity and cooler temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s. It will be a breezy day with winds sustained at 10-20mph from the WNW, gusting up to 25mph. You can open the windows again on Sunday night with overnight lows hovering near 60 degrees.
Temperatures will stay in the low to mid-80s for the work week with just a slim chance for a shower on Tuesday and a slightly better chance on Thursday.
