The Extreme Heat Will Return

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of your Saturday night has a slight chance of a storm, but most of the night will be quiet for most of us.  Skies will be partly cloudy at times with overnight lows around 70 for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and upper-60's for Waukesha temperatures and inland areas.

If you live inland, you're going to get close to 90 again for your Sunday, though things may cool down along Lake Michigan. We are going to have a warm front slowly pulling north. This boundary could touch off a stray shower or storm, but I'm not talking about a washout by any means. Skies will be partly cloudy with the front rolling north. Highs will top out in the mid-80's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and around 90 for Waukesha temperatures and inland areas.

Sunday night is going to be a warm and muggy night. These lows are very warm for this time of year with overnight readings in the mid-70's. We could see a shower or T'storm, but it's not a guarantee.

Here comes the extreme heat again for Monday. Highs will top out in the upper-90's without a lake breeze. There will be a slight chance of a pop-up shower or storm in the afternoon, but most of the day will be quiet.

Tuesday through Thursday, we'll cool things down a little, but this time period is going to be our best chance of seeing much-needed rainfall around here. I'm not talking about all day rains here, but some folks could get in on a few showers and storms. Let's hope that pans out.
