Clouds & Cooler Today

It finally rained, but our drought situation has been elevated to extreme for all of southern Wisconsin.  After about 1" of rain around Milwaukee, and nearly 2" of rain for Racine and Kenosha, the clouds and sprinkles are lingering around the Milwaukee area for Thursday.  It is the first cloudy day in over a month.  Highs will be in the upper 70s along the lake and lower 80s inland with a lot of humidity and a light breeze.  There will be gradual clearing by the late afternoon and evening and lows tonight will drop into the 60s under a clear sky.

Friday will be sunny and seasonal with highs in the low 80s near the lake and mid 80s inland with a NE wind.

The weekend warms up and gets more humid with highs near 90, even at the lake, before the lake breeze develops in the afternoon.  Sunday afternoon has a chance for isolated storms so the weekend will be dry for the most part.  There is a better chance for scattered storms on Sunday night and Monday.
