A Bit of Relief

CREATED Jul 18, 2012

A cool front has slid through the area and temperatures will be noticably cooler today but still above average with readings in the mid to upper 80s.  The lowest readings will be lakeside as winds shft to the Northeast off of Lake Michigan. The boundary between air masses will remain close enough to give us a chance for some scattered showers and storms through tonight, though precipitation still will not be widespread enough to battle the ongoing drought.  A dry stretch returns by the end of the week with temperatures once again climbing even higher over the weekend.
Have a great Wednesday!
