Second verse, same as the first. Today promises to be a virtual repeat performance of yesterday's weather. We'll see abundant sunshine with strong Southwest winds pumping our temperatures back up above 100 degrees. Combine that with dew points climbing to the mid 60s, and the Heat Index will reach up to 105 degrees. Low pressure tracking toward Lake Superior will drag a cool front toward Southeast Wisconsin late today and tonight promising some brief relief from the oppressive heat. However, even with the associated scattered showers and storms, there won't be nearly enough precipitation to put a dent in the remarkably dry conditions.
Have a great Tuesday and stay safe in the heat!
