Multi-Day Heat Advisory Starts at Noon on Monday

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for tonight is going to be very mild for this time of year. Skies will be or become mostly clear with overnight lows around 70.

Here comes the heat again for Monday. A HEAT ADVISORY WILL GO INTO EFFECT AT NOON MONDAY ALL THE WAY UNTIL 9PM ON TUESDAY NIGHT. Skies will be mostly sunny and dry with highs in the upper-90's. Right now, it looks like we may not be able to kick in much of a lake breeze along Lake Michigan. We'll see. That will kick up the heat indices up to 95-105 in the afternoon.

Monday night is going to be a warm and muggy night. These lows are very warm for this time of year with overnight readings in the upper-70's. That's near what our high temperatures should be at this time of year.

Tuesday will also be very hot as it will be almost a repeat of Monday with highs in the mid-90's for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and upper-90's for Waukesha temperatures and inland areas. It may cool down along Lake Michigan a little in the afternoon, but if we keep the wind up, it may not. Tuesday afternoon, we could see a stray storm, but most of the day will be dry.

There will be a chance of rain late Tuesday night into part of Wednesday. We still desperately need rain. At least it cools down into the low- to mid-80's on Wednesday. After our chance of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday, the rest of the week looks dry... again. The lack of rain is worrisome for anything that needs water, and that includes people's water supplies.
