The drought conditions in SE Wisconsin have been upgraded to severe and the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for more sunshine and warmer temperatures the next few days which will continue to dry the lawns and fields. Highs today will be in the mid 80s along the lakefront before cooling down with the lake breeze and near 90 inland. The humid starts to rise and lows tonight will be in the 60s with patchy fog. Friday will be in the mid 80s once again along the lake and lower 90s inland with more humidity.
A weak cold front will bring scattered storms for the weekend with highs near 90 and higher humidity. It will feel like July, now we just need the July storms to help the drought.
Early next week looks hot again with highs in the mid 90s through Tuesday before a cold front Tuesday night brings another chance for storms and cooler weather
