Bright Blue and Mild Mercury

A large area of high pressure is settling in over our region.  This will lead to day after day of quiet weather.  We can expect plenty of sunshine and a continuation of the very dry weather.  To date we are approaching 4 inches below average for rainfall this Summer with no clear change to the atmospheric pattern during the coming week.  Dew points will remain low today, so our air will feel comfortable with the absence of much humidity.  High temperatures will be near the seasonal average of 80 degrees, but a gradual climb is on the way as we head back to hotter readings near 90 degrees by week's end.
Enjoy the sunshine and have a great Tuesday!
