Relief for everyone today, still little rain in sight

CREATED Jul 8, 2012

Everyone will feel the relief today, especially the southern inland counties who were stuck with the heat again yesterday.  Highs will be in the low 80s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies and low humidity.  It will be partly cloudy and seasonable tonight with overnight temperatures in the low 60s.

A weak cold front swings through on Monday, which may spark off a few light showers or sprinkles, but not everyone will see rain.  Temperatures will again be in the low 80s with partly cloudy skies.  Slightly cooler and drier conditions trail the cold front on Tuesday with highs in the low 70s.

The rest of the week unfortunately, looks dry with seasonable temperatures, slowly warming into the mid-80s by next weekend.
