Not much change in the forecast for southeast Wisconsin, it will be another hot day with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures inland will again be warmer, in the low 90s while a lake breeze will keep things cooler along Lake Michigan in the afternoon so highs will stay in the upper 80s there.
There is a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm to develop tonight but this is a slim chance at best. There is a better chance for rain during the day on Monday, but not everyone will see rain and those who do will not get impressive rainfall totals. Temperatures on Monday will again be cooler by the lakefront with upper 80s and hot inland, low 90s expected.
The natural furnace cranks on again for Tuesday, that will be the hottest day of the week with highs for everyone in the mid to upper 90s. Add in the increase in humidity and heat index values will be in the upper 90s to low 100s. We will see a stronger wind to provide some relief, but that's a warm wind from the SW at 10-20mph.
A weak cold front tries to swing through on Tuesday night and may spark off a shower or thunderstorm, but chances of this are small.
The 4th of July will be a hot and somewhat humid day with temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s under blue skies. We stay hot with highs in the low 90s and upper 80s for the rest of the week.
