Still Hot But Less Humid

CREATED Jun. 29, 2012

The very weak cool front which passed through our region late yesterday will have very little impact on temperatures for today. Our reading will still rise into the low 90s which is 10 to 15 degrees above where we should be for this time of year. There will however be a very noticable difference in the dew points which will drop back into the low 60s leading to lower humidity levels. Our lengthy dry spell continues, with no widespread drenching rains expected in the near future, however some scattered showers and storms are possible with the passage of a couple disturbances over the weekend, but neither Saturday nor Sunday will be a washout.

Have a great Friday and terrific weekend!
