Sun Returns & Warm Up Begins

CREATED Jun 26, 2012

High pressure has control of the weather for hundreds of miles around us, bringing back more bright skies and dry air with a return to seasonal high temperatures near 80 degrees.  As the surface high eases off to the East, our winds will pick up out of the South and Southwest, with an upper level ridge strengthening.  All these factors will combine to create yet another heat wave and extended period of mainly dry weather.  Readings tomorrow should top 90 degrees, with mid to upper 90s around the area on Thursday.
Have a great Tuesday!
