Today will be the best day out of the weekend with mostly sunny skies, light winds and highs in the mid-70s at the lake and 80 degrees inland. Tonight a cold front moves in from the north, that may spark off a few showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Some of those showers and T'storms stick around for Sunday morning. The rain will not diminish our dry conditions in southeastern Wisconsin, most locations will only pick up a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain.
Sunday will not be a washout, the best chance for rain will be in the morning, but there is a still a slim chance for more showers to develop in the afternoon. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures just a bit warmer, in the low 80s.
High pressure builds in from Canada on Monday, bringing drier and cooler conditions. Highs will only be in the low 70s but it will be mostly sunny. Temperatures slowly climb to near 80 degrees on Wednesday as the winds switch to being from the south, increasing the humidity as Summerfest kicks off. There are small chances for rain and a few T'storms on Thursday and Friday, but it will not be a wash.
