After a windy and warm day with highs in the 70s and gusts over 30mph on Tuesday, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for the winds to diminish tonight with lows near 50 and cooler weather for the rest of the week with highs in the upper 50s along the lake and lower 60s inland with a NNE wind at only 10-15 mph and a few clouds for Wednesday.
Clouds increase Wednesday night with lows in the mid 40s and a slight chance for rain showers well after midnight. Thursday and Friday will look and feel like early November with highs in the lower 50s, a NE wind, clouds and rain showers all thanks to a very slow moving low pressure system. It could be worse; Thursday is the anniversary of the latest trace of snow in Milwaukee back in 1889. The next few days will have a cold rain, but it won’t be snow.
The weather dramatically improves for the weekend with highs in the upper 60s with a few clouds and an isolated shower possible in the afternoon. Sunday is beautiful with more sunshine and highs in the mid 70s. Showers are possible Sunday night, but the great weather continues into next week with highs in the upper 70s and sun. It may be chilly the next few days, but we still need rain across the area and the weekend looks to be very comfortable and nice.
