Very Windy and Very Warm

CREATED May 24, 2012

A growing pressure gradient between departing high pressure and the approach of a low to our Northwest will send our winds whipping to 40 mph gusts today.  The Southerly breezes will send temperatures soaring to near 90 degrees.  We'll notice a quick increase in clouds toward evening and scattered showers or thunderstorms will overspread the area tonight as a cool front gets closer.  We look on track for a holiday weekend with very warm temperatures and scattered showers or storms on Saturday and Memorial day with plenty of sun on Sunday.
Have a great Thursday!
