A cold front made its way through southeast Wisconsin last night but it is taking its time moving east so a few light rain showers are possible early this morning. After 10am expect mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures in the low 60s at the lake and mid-60s inland due to an eventual breeze off the lake. We'll see a few more breaks in the cloud cover by late this afternoon and the clearing trend continues overnight. Temperatures will be mild in the low to mid 40s tonight.
Mother's Day is shaping up to be the best day of the weekend with more sunshine and warmer temperatures, especially inland. It will be 66° in Milwaukee with 70s possible in Waukesha and inland.
Monday will warm up under full sunshine with low 70s expected across most of southeastern Wisconsin. Tuesday will be even warmer as highs climb into the mid-70s with sunshine to start, though there is a slight chance for a few afternoon and evening showers/T'storms. The next chance for rain doesn't come until Friday afternoon after a brief cool-down on Wednesday and Thursday.
