Summer-like Temperatures & Storms

CREATED May 2, 2012

A very warm and moist air mass overspread our region beginning today with a frontal boundary lifting to our North.  That front will meander around us for the next few days with several impulses traveling along the dividing line helping to produce periods of showers and thunderstorms. There could be enough instability in the atmosphere for some of those storms to become severe, particularly tonight.  Dew points will climb and our air will feel much more muggy with temperature readings rising to near 80 degrees today and tomorrow.
Have a great Wednesday!
