After a cold and frosty start, the forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for increasing afternoon clouds and a cool easterly breeze off the lake with highs in the upper 40s along the water and 50s inland.
Showers develop after midnight and could even mix with light snow in Dodge, Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties with no accumulation expected. Lows will be in the mid 30s and wind chills in the upper 20s.
Saturday is a dreary and damp fall day with clouds, showers and a brisk east wind at 15-25 mph. Highs will be in the lower 40s and wind chills near 30.
Sunny and highs near 50 for Sunday but warmer air returns for next week along with showers. Rain is likely on Monday with highs in the mid 50s, but mid 60s with scattered showers is the forecast for Tuesday. Afternoon rain showers are likely on Wednesday with highs near 70 and Milwaukee will stay near 70 the rest of the week.
