Seasonably Cool and not as windy

CREATED Apr 11, 2012

Plenty of sunshine today with lighter winds compared to the first half of the week.  It will be a seasonably cool day with highs close to 50° in many locations inland.  Clear skies and light winds tonight will allow temperatures to drop below freezing in many spots in southeastern Wisconsin so it will be a frosty night, cover sensitive plants.

The dry weather continues for Thursday but it will be the last day of it.  Temperatures will be warmer as well, everyone will see highs in the low-50s with a light southeasterly wind.  Temperatures will be more mild Thursday night as the cloud cover increase as our first storm system for April approaches.  That will bring a good chance for scattered rain showers Friday afternoon with the best chance overnight into Saturday.  This area of low pressure sticks around through the weekend and will bring a few waves of rain and occasional thunderstorms.  Temperatures will be warmer though, in the upper 60s on Saturday and the low 60s on Sunday.
