It will be a beautiful day in southeast Wisconsin with plenty of sun and highs near 60°. There is a slight chance for a sprinkle but most of us stay dry on this Easter Sunday though it will be windy. Winds from the west sustained at 10-20mph, gusting to 30mph, in addition to very dry air will lead to potentially dangerous fire weather conditions. A Red Flag Warning has been issued from 1pm-8pm for all of southeast Wisconsin, you are advised to not burn brush or start bonfires today as they could quickly get out of hand with the dry and windy conditions.
Tonight will be mild with partly cloudy skies and breezy conditions. The winds will stay strong through the first half of the work week, though a slight northerly influence will pull colder air into the forecast. High pressure will keep us dry through the majority of the week but that will also keep humidity low, meaning you should postpone any burning plans. Temperatures will dip into the 40s on Tuesday and overnight lows midweek will dip close to freezing so frost will be an issue as well. The next chance for rain comes Friday afternoon and lasts off and on through next weekend.
