A warm front passes to our south, so we will miss out on the heat in southeast Wisconsin today but temperatures will be above average for April. Expect partly cloudy skies and a slight chance for a few afternoon pop-up showers and thunderstorms, not everyone will see rain. Highs at the lake will be in the upper 50s while temperatures inland and further south will be in the mid-60s. Cloud cover decreases tonight as high pressure builds in, bringing winds from the NNE.
High pressure will keep us dry and seasonable for the duration of the work week with highs in the low to mid 50s and mostly sunny skies. We'll see clear skies Wednesday and Thursday night so some patchy frost is possible, especially inland when temperatures dip close to freezing.
Looks like warmer weather is in store for the weekend with highs getting close to 60° on Saturday and Sunday with a chance for showers late Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
