Thursday will be colder and then followed by rain Thursday night...

Tonight the winds start to calm down and under a mostly clear sky, temperatures will drop close to freezing inland, so some patchy frost is possible.  Temperatures by the lake will only be slightly warmer, about 35 degrees in Milwaukee. Thursday will have plenty of sunshine but temperatures stay seasonably cool with highs in the forties near the lake and mid-fifties inland. The rain starts to move in late Thursday night with rain and thunderstorms possible and that pattern continues on Friday. We could see a half inch to one inch of new rain by Friday evening. The weekend is looking dry and warmer for Milwaukee.
