Dense fog will blanket southeast Wisconsin this morning thanks to the one inch of rain most of us received yesterday and light winds. Expect visibilities to be lower than a quarter mile at times this morning, before conditions improve by the afternoon. There is a slight chance for a few spotty showers this morning, but it will not be heavy or continuous rain like Friday. We dry out by the afternoon and some locations may even catch a few rays of sun by the end of the day. Temperatures will top out in the upper 50s lakeside and low 60s inland. Some more patchy fog may develop tonight and temperatures will stay mild, in the mid-40s.
Sunday will be the better day of the weekend with more sunshine in the forecast and highs near 60° by the lake and 65° in Waukesha. Winds will pick up Sunday night as a cold front approaches to drop highs into the 40s for Monday, and while that will be a substantial drop in temperatures, 45° is actually seasonable for March.
Temperatures will be bouncing around for the rest of the 7 day planner with the best chance for rain on Monday night and into Tuesday. The warmest day will be on Wednesday with highs in the low 60s, though overall we're still seasonably warm for March.
