A southeast breeze has already set up along the lake, so temperatures will be slightly cooler there. High temperatures will be a little lower by the lake due to this, so we'll just miss the record high in Milwaukee. Still 70s by the lakefront in March is more like summer weather on this first day of spring. Temperatures inland will still top out near 80 degrees!
Another mild night is expected in southeast Wisconsin with temperatures in the mid 50s lakeside and close to 60° inland. There is a very slight chance for an isolated shower or two, but most of us stay dry.
This March heatwave continues for Wednesday with highs near 78° in Milwaukee and 81° for inland areas. Even Thursday looks a bit warmer as a slow moving cold front starts to push into southeast Wisconsin. That front will bring showers and occasional thunderstorms Thursday evening through Saturday when temperatures will dip into the upper 50s.
