CREATED Mar 6, 2012

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for sunshine, gusty winds and warm temperatures with highs in the low to mid 50s thanks to SW winds up to 35 mph.

The warmth and wind continues overnight with lows in the lower 40s along with patchy fog and SW winds up to 30 mph.

The wind remains gusty on Wednesday and as the cold front moves into western Wisconsin, clouds will be on the increase throughout the afternoon with highs near 60.  Scattered rain showers will develop by late afternoon and evening and become likely overnight with up to a half inch of rainfall.  As temperatures drop into the 30s overnight, inland areas might see a little light snow or flurries mixing with the rain showers with no accumulation expected.

Thursday will start off cloudy and a few lingering showers, but by afternoon, the sun is out and highs will be in the upper 40s.

Friday will be sunny with highs near 40 and Saturday is sunny with highs in the mid 40s.  Sunday will be mostly cloudy with showers late in the day.
