The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for rapidly changing conditions as this powerful storm system moves through the state. It was cloudy and foggy with temps in the 30s at 11am, but noon it was sunny and low to mid 50s around Milwaukee as the warm front moved through. However, clouds and light snow are just to the west and will move back into Milwaukee this afternoon with a rain/snow mix as temperatures drop to near 40 by late afternoon. That will change to light snow this evening with less than 1" of accumulation and lows near 30.
Thursday is the pick day of the week with highs in the low to mid 40s and sunshine.
Another storm system moves into the Midwest on Friday, and Milwaukee will be on the warm side of the storm with highs in the mid 40s with a rain/snow mix. It will snow in the morning and evening with rain midday. Less than 1" of accumulation is expected.
Saturday will be windy and colder with highs in the 30s, wind chills in the teens and flurries. Sunday will be sunny with highs in the mid 30s (normal for early March). The spring temperature roller coaster has arrived and Milwaukee will be back into the 50s by Tuesday.
