It will be a warmer and very windy day in southeastern Wisconsin as a warm front brings in temperatures in the 40s and strong SSE winds. A Wind Advisory is in effect from 11am through 4pm as the winds will ramp up through the morning hours to 20-30mph by the afternoon, gusts may reach 45mph, especially close to Lake Michigan. There will be a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day with a slight chance for a few flurries and sprinkles mainly in the north.
Tonight will be breezy but not as gusty as the afternoon, which will help keep temperatures more mild: 26° in Milwaukee.
Monday will be slightly cooler, temperatures back into the mid-30s with mostly sunny skies. It will still be breezy with a westerly wind at 10-20mph.
Tuesday afternoon is when our next big weather maker enters the picture. A strong area of low pressure will bring a rain/snow mix Tuesday afternoon, becoming more widespread by Tuesday night. Expect mainly rain showers Tuesday night in the south with a better chance for some accumulating snow in our northern counties. Temperatures will stay above freezing on Wednesday, so again, rain/snow mix can be expected on Wednesday, tapering off by evening. This system can still change its course and the precipitation chances would follow suit, we'll be watching this one closely.
A brief break in the action on Thursday before yet another system moves in for Friday, bringing another chance for a rain/snow mix due to temperatures above freezing.
