A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect until 9am Friday for most of southeast Wisconsin. Some folks will see between three and five inches of new snow by Friday morning. The temperature profile will support a wet snow overnight. Light snow will continue on Friday morning as temperatures hover just above the freezing mark. Weak high pressure builds in for Saturday leading to some sunshine, while another storm system targets our area for Sunday, although the worst of this storm will be to our north. The mercury will steadily decline over the next several days and briefly drop below average on Saturday, with a high temperature of 33 degrees for the first half of the weekend.
Enjoy the Thursday night snowfall!
