Dreary Valentine's Day

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for a dreary and damp Valentine's Day with highs in the low to mid 30s and patchy areas of drizzle.  The roads will be in great shape for everyone heading out for dinner tonight and it will be mild with temperatures near 30.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with highs near 40 and a light SW wind.  Another storm system moves in from the SW and will bring light rain by late Wednesday evening and it will turn to a rain/snow mix overnight with lows near 32.  Milwaukee and areas south will receive little snow accumulation overnight, while areas north of the city will see 1-2" of snow overnight.  The rain/snow mix changes to light snow Thursday morning with about an inch of accumulation for the area before tapering off to flurries in the afternoon.  Total accumulation for Milwaukee and areas south will be about 1", while areas to the west and north will see a total of 2-3" of snow from this system.  It will be breezy Thursday afternoon with highs in the upper 30s.

Friday will be partly cloudy with highs near 40 and then we cool down back to normal for the weekend with highs in the low to mid 30s and sunshine.
