The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for clouds and light snow this afternoon with less than 1" of accumulation. A southwest wind at 10-15 mph will bump high temperatures into the low to mid 30s today.
Clouds will keep temperatures in the mid 20s tonight with light snow continuing and about 1" of accumulation. Freezing drizzle is also possible overnight and early Tuesday that could make the roads very slick Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon will be cloudy and mild with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
Wednesday is mostly cloudy and mild with highs near 40. However, another storm system will move into the Midwest late Wednesday. Initially the precipitation will fall as rain, and then become a wintry mix overnight and then become snow showers early Thursday. It's way too early for snow totals due to the uncertainty of the temperatures, but if this was all snow it would be about 3-6". My initial forecast will be for 2-3" of snow by Thursday morning.
Friday and Saturday will be sunny with highs in the lower 30s.
