A 'Super' Sunday forecast

CREATED Feb 5, 2012

Another mild day to close out the weekend.  Expect a few lake clouds this morning but we'll give way to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon once again.  Temperatures will be in the low 40s despite a light wind from the north.

A few clouds may roll in tonight, but overall conditions will continue to be mild as the wind switches to the west and picks up by Monday.  Sunshine can be expected once again and temperatures will be warm for February; we'll hit 47° in Milwaukee, the warmest out of the week.

A cold front moves through Monday night, increasing the cloud cover and bringing colder temperatures for Tuesday.  With NNE winds, we could see a few stray lake effect snow showers.

Another cold front passes by on Thursday, bringing a few flurries into the forecast, but more importantly: much colder air.  High temperatures will be in the 20s for Friday and Saturday with overnight lows in the teens.
