The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for another mild day with highs in the lower 40s, patchy fog and a mostly cloudy sky. Dense fog that formed overnight, especially in inland areas, is slowly burning off and will linger into the early afternoon. As a result, most of today will remain mostly cloudy with a little sunshine here and there.
Patchy dense fog develops again tonight with lows near 30 and a calm wind. The fog will be slow to burn off again Friday morning and with a light NE wind, highs will be near 40.
A huge storm system is developing in the southern plains and will bring clouds and wind for SE Wisconsin during the day on Saturday. Latest information has most of this storm staying well south of Milwaukee, but there is a slight chance for a rain/snow mix late Saturday, Saturday night and early Sunday. Highs on Saturday will be near 40 with a NE wind at 10-20 mph. Sunday will have more sun, a light wind, and highs in the upper 30s.
The quiet weather pattern continues next week with highs in the low to mid 30s and flurries on Tuesday.
