Dense Fog, Rain, and Snow

CREATED Jan 23, 2012

Low pressure which developed across the central Plains is now lifting into our region.  Warm air ahead of this system is leading to areas of dense fog and allowing us to see precipitation in the form of rain, at least initially.  As the disturbance moves away to our East, we'll see our winds shift around to the West and Northwest ushering colder temperatures leading to a transition from rain to snow.  Only minor accumulations are expected around our area.  The balance of the work week looks to be very quiet with periods of sunshine.
Have a great Monday!
