Whippin' Winds and Wintery Mix

CREATED Jan. 22, 2012

The quiet mild winter trend is clearly over as yet another disturbance approaches us from the West today.  With the jet stream lifting a bit to our North, we'll notice substantially warmer readings.  High temperatures will reach the mid and upper 30's across Southeast Wisconsin.  That will be relief from the Arctic air but also make the type of precipitation falling quite varied.  Look for periods of rain, freezing rain tonight, changing to snow on Monday.

Have a great Sunday!
