Light Drizzle, Freezing Drizzle, Light Rain and Light Snow Getting Closer

The southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha and Milwaukee forecast for the rest of the night will consist of a few lake effect clouds pushing through. With a few of those clouds, a few flurries may fall, but it's nothing that will cause you any problems the rest of the night. Overnight lows will bottom out in the mid-teens for our lakefront communities and Milwaukee temperatures and around 10 for our inland areas and Waukesha temperature. Our temperatures will actually rise as the late night goes on.

The daytime hours on Sunday look fairly quiet. There will be some milder air pushing its way into the area. This is ahead of a low pressure system that will be tracking towards Wisconsin. That could bring a stray patch of drizzle or freezing drizzle, but nothing looks to be of significance. Highs will top out in the upper-30's. That's plenty warm to do some melting.

A few areas to the west might start off a little bit on the cooler side. As this system moves closer, it will start to touch off a little drizzle, light rain and possibly a little freezing drizzle. This does NOT look to be a major icing event. Overnight lows will bottom out in the low-30's but actually might be rising as the night wears on. None of the precipitation looks heavy at all.

Monday, on the back side of this low pressure, any lingering light rain or drizzle will change over to a little light snow. Accumulation will range between only a trace to up to 1". There might be just a little more way off to the north and west. Highs will top out in the mid-30's before slowly falling as the day wears on. It will be a little windy as well.

Monday night looks quiet.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny and seasonable. Highs will top out in the upper-20's.
