Bitter Cold Then Bigger Snow

CREATED Jan 19, 2012

A reinforcing blast of Arctic air is flowing into our region as another cold front sweeps by the area today.  As winds kick up out of the Northwest 10 to 20 miles per hour, wind chill readings will average about 15 degrees below zero with high temperatures about 20 degrees below average reaching only the upper single digits.  There's a developing storm system which looks to pass just to our South on Friday putting us in the crosshairs for several more inches of snow.  The timing looks focused on the afternoon toward the evening hours.

Have a great Thursday!
