The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for snow throughout the day with most areas in SE Wisconsin picking up 2-4" of snow by morning and isolated spots of 5" and 6". Temperatures will be dropping into the 20s and the wind increase to 30 mph with wind chills in the single digits and blowing snow.
Expect 1-2" of snow this afternoon and an additional 1-3" overnight with blowing and drifting snow becoming the main concern. The snow will taper off after midnight and expect flurries all day Friday.
Lows tonight drop into the teens with wind chills below zero and highs on Friday in the lower 20s with wind chills in the single digits.
A warm front moves into the state on Saturday with clouds and flurries and very light snow. Highs will be in the low 20s.
Sunday is sunny and seasonal with highs in the upper 20s.
