Low temperatures tonight drop into the upper 20s which is near the normal HIGH temperature for today with a light breeze. Skies will be mostly clear and there may be a little fog formation in low spots well inland. The warm start to the day on Tuesday means a very warm January day for tomorrow with the potential for record temperatures. Milwaukee's record is 52 from 1975 and the forecast for Tuesday is 51 degrees. It will be a beautiful day with sunshine and a light southwest wind at only 5-10 mph.
Wednesday will continue to be mild with high temperatures in the mid- or upper-forties, but a cold front moves through midday and the cold air starts to move in Wednesday night.
High temperatures on Thursday will be in the low to mid 20s and very windy with wind chills near zero. We will have cloudy skies with scattered light snow showers or flurry bands, with a chance for some accumulation on grassy areas.
Friday will be less windy and more sunny, but high temperatures remain in the lower-twenties after low temperatures near 10 degrees.
Saturday and Sunday will have a few clouds and it warms up to the upper-twenties or near 30 degrees with lowstemperatures in the teens. The January chill has finally arrived, but still no snow storms on the horizon.
