After missing the record high yesterday of 52° by one degree, temperatures will much cooler behind a cold front that swung through overnight. Highs will still be almost ten degrees warmer than they should be in January so even a high of 37° in Milwaukee will be mild. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies with a calming wind from the NW as we go into the evening.
Tonight will again be cooler, but still above where we should be, 24° in Milwaukee and 22° in Waukesha under partly cloudy skies.
Sunday will be a near repeat day, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures hovering close to 40° in southeastern Wisconsin. Winds however will switch to being from the WSW, which will usher in warmer air for Monday and Tuesday when temperatures climb back into the 40s.
The week looks to be inactive again as far as snowstorms go, nothing major or even minor can be expected as far as accumulation goes. The only slight chance for flakes in the forecast will be Wednesday night and into Thursday where we could see a few flurries and breezy conditions.
