Near Record Warmth!

CREATED Jan 6, 2012

A cold front is sweeping through the region today, but with so much dry air here at the surface the only significant impact will be a few more clouds and a bit of a decline in temperatures for the weekend.  Before that drop in readings we'll come close to record highs around Southeast Wisconsin on Friday with temperatures approaching a remarkable 50 degrees.  Winds will shift around to the Northwest ushering in cooler high temperatures in the mid 30's which still remains above the average for this time of year.  High pressure retakes control of conditions providing dry weather and sunshine from the weekend through at least the beginning of next week.
Have a great weekend!
