Warming Up

CREATED Jan 4, 2012
  • Print

The forecast for Milwaukee, Waukesha and SE Wisconsin is for warmer temperatures with highs in the mid 30s and wind chills in the 20s with a NW wind at 10-15 mph and hazy sunshine.  It was actually colder in north central Florida this morning than in Milwaukee.  Jacksonville was a record 22 and Orlando was 24..the same as Milwaukee.  Ft Myers was 32 this morning, but Florida will be in the 70s by the weekend.

The warm up has started here, but no 70s are in the forecast.  Thursday will be sunny with a high of 43 and Friday will be 45 before clouds and a cold front arrive and cool Milwaukee back into the 30s for the weekend with plenty of sunshine.  A cold front can't even drop our temperatures below the average high of 29.

The mild and dry air sticks around early next week with highs near 40 Monday and Tuesday.  The next chance for precipitation is next Wednesday with a rain/snow mix.
