Clouds will be around early tonight ahead of a warm front that will keep us a bit warmer tonight in the lower-20's, with a few flurries early and clearing late.
The clouds clear out by morning and a westerly wind will help warm temperatures into the low to mid 30s for Wednesday afternoon as the normal high now is 29 degrees.
The warm up continues for Thursday and Friday also with sunshine at times and high temperatures in the lower-forties. Thursday is the better of the two days with more sun and a light wind. A cold front Friday night will drop weekend temperatures into the mid to upper-thirties, still well above average for early January in Milwaukee. The extreme cold is trapped way up in Canada north of a jet stream that is also north of Milwaukee. There is no snow in the forecast for the next 7 to 10 days for Milwaukee. We may see temperatures back in the forties by Tuesday of next week.
