Mostly clear skies and dry air will make for avery pleasant night with mild low temperatures between 52 and 55 degrees across southeast wisconsin. Tuesday starts off sunny and warm but then a weak disturbance should slide through the region on Tuesday afternoon, but with a lack of moisture or atmospheric support, there should only be a few showers or thunderstorms later in the afternoon. Still, most of Tuesday looks to be warm and dry. Briefly cooler readings arrive behind the weak cold front for Wednesday, though high temperatures will still reach near average levels in the mid 60's in most locations. The rest of the week looks great, also.

We'll kick off the work week with a repeat performance of the weekend. Look for plenty of sunshine and even warmer temperatures into the middle 70s as high pressure eases off to our East. A weak disturbance should slide through the region on Tuesday afternoon, but with a lack of significant moisture or atmospheric support, the only issue could be a few showers or thunderstorms. Still, most of Tuesday looks to be dry. Briefly cooler readings arrive behind the disturbance for Wednesday, though high temperatures will still reach near average levels in the mid 60's.

A weak cold front without a lot of moisture rolls through southeast Wisconsin Friday night and that front could touch off an isolated shower. Most folks will be dry, however and that will carry over into the weekend. We should see cooler temperatures on Saturday but high temperatures will still be in the low to middle sixties under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Mother's Day will have more sunshine and high temperatures in the middle sixties to around seventy out in Waukesha. We should see high temperatures in the low-seventies much of next week.

High pressure that brought us a beautiful day, yesterday, will maintain its hold on our region for Friday. The Eastward shifting ridge will send a return flow of Southerly breezes helping boost our temperatures well above seasonal averages. Highs will reach the low to mid 70s today. A cool front approaches us tonight and could trigger some showers and thunderstorms. The disturbance looks to be well timed, departing quickly enough to return dry weather for the weekend. There will be more clouds than sun on Saturday, though. Have a terrific Friday and a great weekend!
