It's not often you say, "I dressed too warm," for anything in Wisconsin, but a lot of us did on Saturday.
There is always a lot for the kids to look at, before we even move. I mean, check out that photo above, right. You've got assorted racing sausages, some characters from the Wizard of Oz, and I saw a shepherd smoking earlier. Nice.
My four year old daughter, Ella, rode with me again this year. I don't know what we're going to do next year, because the twins will be old enough to ride. Susan brought two of her three kids... Alex and Gabrielle. Madeline had a basketball game, and it's a good thing. We were out of room in the car.
What a fantastic crowd in Downtown Milwaukee. I bet the crowd was double the size of last year. Thanks to everyone who yelled nice stuff at us.
