A carbon monoxide leak this week caused the evacuation and temporary closing of a bowling alley in West Allis, and caused me a bit of a chuckle.
I'm glad everyone is okay, and if they weren't I wouldn't joke about it, but...
It did occur to me that it was a truly Wisconsin phenomenon. You have a full bowling alley at 10AM... on a Wednesday?
Also, my favorite interview from the story was a bowler describing the scene inside. He mentioned that guys were dizzy, nauseous, and then added that their, "bowling was dropping off."
Hey... something wrong with Jimmy? Well... yeah... he's been feeling dizzy and like he wanted to puke all morning. Plus, he hasn't broken 200.
Sometimes you just gotta say On Wisconsin!
